Donate Miles to Wishes in Flight SM

Did you know that you can donate airline miles to Make-A-Wish®? What better way to give back! Make-A-Wish® needs more than 2.5 billion miles, or 50,000 round-trip tickets, to grant wishes each year. Every mile donated helps wish kids and their families travel to destinations around the world. Once donated, your miles will never expire and are used to support wishes across the country. This is just one simple way you can help grant a life-changing wish experience.

Oklahoma Pending Travel Wishes

Currently, Make-A-Wish® Oklahoma has 74 pending travel wishes, including international trips, Disney World, Hawaii, cruises, travel celebrity meet-and-greets and miscellaneous US travel. To give you EVEN MORE local perspective, let me break down just a few of these pending wishes…

* Italy – requires 125,000 airlines miles per ticket (family of 5)
* Hawaii – requires 70,000 airlines miles per ticket (we have 9 pending Hawaii wishes)
* Australia – requires 160,000 airline miles per ticket (family of 5) For this wish, we saved
$9,500 just through donated airline miles!!

Big Truck Tacos at the OKC MAW Office! NEXT FRIDAY!!!

 When: Friday, May 18, 2012, between 11:30am-1:30pm
Where: Shartel Plaza parking lot in front of MAW office (5201 N. Shartel Avenue, OKC) We are located just east of Bishop McGuinness High School and across the street from a CVS.
Details: Anyone is welcome to stop by during the designated lunch hours and Big Truck Tacos will make a donation to Make-A-Wish Oklahoma. Our staff welcomes volunteers, donors and community supporters to come by, visit the OKC office and eat tacos! We ask that you share with friends, co-workers, on Facebook, Twitter and any other way you can! Please see a flyer attached you are welcome to post at your gym, work, etc. We hope to see you there!!

When: Thu, Jun 7 2012, 7:00p.m. - 11:00p.m.

The annual Brookside Rumble and Roll event attracts hundreds of motorcycle riders and thousands of onlookers to the Brookside area of Tulsa each year.  Bikers line up at the University of Tulsa Reynolds Center parking lot and parade down Cherry Street and then south on Peoria into Brookside.

Staging at the University of Tulsa begins at 5:30pm.
The street party begins at 7pm with live music and vendors.
