Sixteen-year-old Lauren, who has pulmonary artery hypertension, has just embarked on an experience-of-a-lifetime trip to Paris, France!
When the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Oklahoma learned about Lauren’s wish, they began brainstorming ideas that would make her wish a memorable one. Lauren and family arrived in Paris on May 25
th for an eight-day-stay at the Novotel Paris Les Halles Hotel. During their stay, they enjoyed seeing many beautiful sites of Paris, including an Illuminations Cruise that toured the “City of Lights” at night.
Upon her arrival back into the United States, Lauren had one more surprise in store for her. The Make-A-Wish Foundation teamed up with Jewelers For Children and the local BC Clark’s to present Lauren with a special gift. She was surprised by the downtown BC Clark’s store with a sterling silver charm bracelet to commemorate her trip to Paris. BC Clark’s, along with other Oklahoma jeweler’s, sponsored Lauren’s wish through the Jewelers For Children “Wish A State” program!
Jewelers For Children was founded in 1990 with a mission of helping children in need. Since it’s partnership with the Make-A-Wish-Foundation of America, JFC has raised more than $6.9 million for the foundation and granted a total of 1,053 wishes.
