Your generosity will help us bring the special power and magic of a wish come true to children battling life-threatening illnesses.

Funds raised locally throughout Oklahoma are used to fulfill wishes for children residing in our state. Here are several ways you can actively support the Make-A-Wish Foundation®.

There is nothing as simple and direct as making a financial contribution. Make-A-Wish welcomes gifts by check, or money order or by credit card (MasterCard, Visa & Discover.) All checks and money orders should be made payable to "Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Oklahoma "

Adopt-A-Wish - You may sponsor the favorite wish of one or more children at an average cost of $6,500. The foundation will inform you of the child's name, illness, hobbies, interests, and of course, his or her wish! If available, you will be sent photos from the wish and thank-you letters from the child.

In-Kind Gifts - are items or services that are donated to the chapter instead of cash. In-kind gifts are used for special events and to help reduce the cash cost of wishes and general operating expenses. Contributions of these items can enable the Make-A-Wish dollar to go further and accomplish more. In-kind items include tickets for airline travel, concerts or sporting events; limousines, travel packages for lodging and meals; services such as printing, graphic design and office supplies such as postage, paper and printer cartiages.

Workplace Giving - another easy way to donate to Make-A-Wish. Though Make-A-Wish is not a United Way agency, you can still designate funds via their "Donor Option" program. Just write "Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Oklahoma " in the donor option section of your pledge form, and your contribution will be forwarded to Make-A-Wish.

If you are a government employee, you have the opportunity to contribute to Make-A-Wish through the Combined Federal Campaign, Oklahoma Combined Campaign, or other local government campaign involving your agency. Please locate the listing for Make-A-Wish in your campaign donor brochure and write the 4-digit code on your pledge form. Your support will help make dreams come true for some very deserving children.

Kids For Wish Kids - gives students a chance to create ideas for fund-raisers, then manage the projects themselves to help grant the wish of a child their own age. Along the way, the students experience the joy of giving, as well as develop school spirit, learn lots of skills and work toward a common goal while making a wish come true.
